17L Assignment of duties (1) The Chief Judge may assign duties to a judicial registrar. (2) A judicial registrar must— (a) carry out the duties that are from time to time assigned to him or her by the Chief Judge; and (b) subject to section 4(1C), perform the duties and exercise the powers and authorities imposed or conferred on him or her by or under this Act or any other Act or by the Rules.
