27 Sales for which labelling is not required but in relation to which information must be made available
This section applies if food is sold to a purchaser in Australia, other than in a retail sale. The seller of the food must provide the purchaser, on request, with any information about the origins of the food or its ingredients that will be necessary to enable the purchaser to comply with a requirement under this information standard in relation to:
on-selling the food to another purchaser; or
selling another food that uses the food as an ingredient.
If the purchaser requests the information in writing, the information must be provided in writing.
