41D Compliance with notices
S. 41D(1) amended by No. 5/2012 s. 32.
(1) Subject to sections 41B and 41C, a person on whom a fire prevention notice has been served must comply with the notice.
(2) Proceedings for an offence under subsection (1) may be taken—
S. 41D(2)(a) amended by No. 37/2014 s. 10(Sch. item 33.4).
(a) by a police officer;
S. 41D(2)(b) amended by No. 9/2020 s. 390(Sch. 1 item 18.1).
(b) if the fire prevention notice was served by a fire prevention officer, in accordance with section 313 of the **Local Government Act 2020**;
(c) if the fire prevention notice was served by the Chief Officer, by a person appointed for the purpose by the Chief Officer.
