37ADirection not to light fire

37A Direction not to light fire (1) The Chief Officer may, for the purpose of protecting life, property or the environment, direct a person or persons to not light a fire at a place and within a period of time specified in the direction. (2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a direction given to the person by the Chief Officer under subsection (1). No. 5040 s. 39.
