sec.26 Prisoner to prisoner visit
The chief executive may allow a prisoner (the visiting prisoner ) to visit another prisoner who is a relative of the visiting prisoner if it is operationally feasible. In considering whether it is operationally feasible, the chief executive must consider all relevant factors, including, for example— if the 2 prisoners are not accommodated at the same corrective services facility— the distance between the corrective services facilities in which the prisoners are accommodated; and the risk of the visiting prisoner escaping, or attempting to escape, during the transfer between the corrective services facilities and while visiting; and the prisoners’ security classifications; and whether the visit could pose a risk to the security or good order of a corrective services facility. If the chief executive has decided to allow a visit as mentioned in subsection (1) , the chief executive must, on the day of the proposed visit, again consider whether the visit could pose a risk to the security or good order of a corrective services facility.
