54 Earnings from paid employment outside a prison to be paid into prisoner trust account (1) Subject to regulation 55, the net earnings of a prisoner must be paid into the prisoner's prisoner trust account. (2) A prisoner may spend any money paid into the prisoner's prisoner trust account under subregulation (1) in accordance with regulation 48(1). (3) Any money paid into a prisoner's prisoner trust account under subregulation (1) must be returned to the prisoner on the prisoner's release from prison.
