62 Relationship with other inspection laws
(1) This Act must be construed and administered in a way that is
consistent with an inspection law unless the contrary intention
appears from this Act or that law.
(2) This Act is taken to be consistent with an inspection law to the extent
that it is capable of operating concurrently with that law.
(3) The director-general may make arrangements with a person
responsible for the exercise of functions under an inspection law to
ensure, as far as practicable, the safety of an inspector (however
described) or anyone else affected by the exercise of the function in
relation to a detainee or correctional centre.
(4) A person exercising a function under an inspection law in relation to
a detainee or correctional centre must exercise the function in
accordance with any direction by the director-general in relation to—
(a) the safety of anyone at the correctional centre; or
