51 Visits—protected communications
The director-general must not listen to, or record, a communication
at a visit between a detainee and any of the following people:
(d) a commissioner exercising functions under the Human Rights
Commission Act 2005;
(e) the ombudsman;
(f) the integrity commissioner;
(g) a person prescribed by regulation.
Note 1 Electronic communications between a detainee and a person mentioned
in this section must not be monitored, see s 103.
Note 2 For restrictions on monitoring mail between a detainee and a person
mentioned in this section, see s 105.
