38 Executing warrants of imprisonment or remand etc (1) The director-general may make escort officers available to attend on a court or tribunal— (a) to take a person into custody; or (b) to arrange for a person to be kept in custody; or (c) to transfer or otherwise deal with a person. (2) An order or direction of the court addressed to all escort officers— (a) is taken to be addressed to each escort officers; and (b) may be executed by any escort officers.
