220 Personal injury management—detainees etc
(a) a detainee suffers injury that arises out of, or in the course of,
the detainee’s detention; or
(b) an offender, who is directed to do community service work
under the Crimes (Sentence Administration) Act 2005,
section 91, suffers injury that arises out of, or in the course of,
the work.
(2) A regulation may make provision in relation to the injury, including
provision in relation to the following:
(a) injury management;
(b) vocational rehabilitation;
(c) compensation for a permanent injury;
(d) death benefits.
injury includes—
(a) disease; and
(b) aggravation, acceleration and recurrence of an injury or disease.
