206 Definitions—pt 12.2
In this part:
corresponding director-general, of a participating State, means the
person responsible for the administration of correctional centres
(however described) for full-time detention in the participating State.
corresponding leave law means a law of a State or another Territory
declared to be a corresponding leave law under section 207.
escape, in relation to an interstate detainee, includes fail to return to
lawful custody at the end of the period to which the detainee’s
interstate leave permit applies.
interstate detainee means a person to whom an interstate leave permit
under a corresponding leave law applies.
participating State means a State or another Territory where a
corresponding leave law is in force.
