17 Director-general delegations
(1) The director-general may delegate any of the director-general’s
functions under this Act to a corrections officer.
(2) This section does not limit the director-general’s power to delegate a
function under any other territory law.
Examples of delegation
1 a delegation for directions to be given to detainees at a correctional centre by
the corrections officer in charge of the centre
2 a delegation for functions under chapter 10 (Discipline) to be exercised by a
corrections officer at a correctional centre
