168 Presiding officer’s powers—breach admitted by accused (1) This section applies if the accused elects under section 167 to have a disciplinary charge dealt with under this division. (2) A presiding officer may, without further investigation or inquiry, counsel the accused and take disciplinary action against the accused in accordance with division 10.3.5 (Disciplinary action). (3) However, the only disciplinary action the presiding officer may take under this section is the disciplinary action stated as the appropriate action in the charge notice. (4) The presiding officer must give the accused written notice of a decision made under this section.
