126 Searches—use of force
(1) A corrections officer may use force—
(a) to carry out a search under this part; or
(b) to assist at a body search under section 118 (Body searches—
assistance from corrections officer); or
(c) to prevent the loss, destruction or contamination of anything
seized, or that may be seized, during the search.
(2) However, the corrections officer may use force only in accordance
with part 9.7 (Use of force).
