### 84 Proof that person is prisoner or detainee > > (1)  If in any proceedings a question arises whether a person is, or was, at any particular time, a prisoner or detainee, it is sufficient for a party to the proceedings to prove that that person is, or was, at the time in question, a person in fact ordinarily dealt with as a prisoner or detainee under this Act without any other proof. > > > (2)  The onus of proving the contrary to what is mentioned in [subsection (1)](#GS84@Gs1@EN) is on the other party to the proceedings.
