### 60 Appeals against decision of disciplinary officer > > (1)  A prisoner or detainee may appeal to the Director against the decision of a disciplinary officer by submitting a written request for an appeal to the disciplinary officer not later than 3 days from the day on which the decision was made. > > > (2)  An appeal by a prisoner or detainee may be against the finding of guilt or against the sentence imposed. > > > (3)  At the hearing of an appeal under this section the Director may – > > > > > > (a) dismiss the appeal and affirm the decision of the disciplinary officer; or > > > > > > > (b) revoke the decision of the disciplinary officer and make such decision as the Director considers appropriate.
