97 Secretary may nominate person to act as Regional Manager S. 97(1) amended by No. 45/1996 s. 17(Sch. 1 item 61). (1) If a Regional Manager is absent from a region or the position of Regional Manager is vacant the Secretary may nominate a community corrections officer to act as Regional Manager while the Regional Manager is absent or the position of Regional Manager is vacant. (2) A community corrections officer nominated to act as Regional Manager has the functions powers and duties of a Regional Manager while so acting.
