55B Escort officers subject to direction of court or tribunal (1) An escort officer must, if directed by the court, supervise a person who has surrendered himself or herself into the custody of the court in answer to his or her bail. (2) An escort officer must comply with any lawful direction of the court or tribunal when supervising— S. 55B(2)(a) amended by No. 68/2009 s. 97(Sch. item 33.1). (a) a prisoner attending before the court or tribunal; or (b) a person who has surrendered himself or herself into the custody of a court in answer to his or her bail.
