184Unauthorised photograph or recording

184 Unauthorised photograph or recording (a) is: (i) at a custodial correctional facility; or (ii) in the vicinity of a custodial correctional facility; and (b) takes a photograph or makes a video or audio recording; and (c) does so for a purpose related to the facility or a prisoner; and (d) does not have the consent of the General Manager to do so. (2) Strict liability applies to: (a) subsection (1)(a)(i); and (b) if the person is at a custodial correctional facility – subsection (1)(c). (a) the person is a priority visitor and the photograph or recording relates to the performance by the visitor of the visitor's official functions; or

Correctional Services Act 2014 88 (b) the person is a prisoner's legal practitioner and the photograph or recording is subject to client legal privilege.
