58 Application in Tasmania of the ASIC Act

(1)  [Section 58 Subsection (1) amended by No. 41 of 2001, s. 31, Applied:15 Jul 2001] [Section 58 Subsection (1) amended by No. 74 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jan 2000] The ASIC Act as in force immediately before its repeal, other than the excluded provisions –

(a) applies as a law of Tasmania; and

(b) [Section 58 Subsection (1) amended by No. 74 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jan 2000] as so applying, may be referred to as the ASIC Law of Tasmania.

(2)  [Section 58 Subsection (2) amended by No. 74 of 1999, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jan 2000] The excluded provisions of the ASIC Act are –
