78 Obligation to report death in care or death in custody
A custodial officer commits an offence if the custodial officer—
(a) knows of a death in care or death in custody; and
(b) has reasonable grounds to believe that the death has not been
reported to a coroner; and
(c) does not report the death to a coroner as soon as practicable after
becoming aware of it and having the reasonable grounds
mentioned in paragraph (b).
