68G Exercise of investigation scene powers under pt 5A
(1) Investigation scene powers given to a police officer or other person
under this part may be exercised by the police officer or other person
in any way that—
(a) the officer or other person considers reasonable in the
circumstances; and
(b) is consistent with—
(i) if a coronial investigation scene order applies—the order;
and
(ii) if a coronial investigation scene declaration applies—the
declaration.
(2) If a police officer or other person secures a place, the officer or other
person must, if it is reasonable in the circumstances, give notice to
members of the public that the place is an investigation scene.
(3) In this section:
investigation scene power, under this part, means a power exercisable
under section 68E or section 68F (4).
