65 Restriction of access
(1) A coroner holding an inquest or an inquiry may take reasonable steps
to restrict access to the scene of the death of a person, the scene of an
event that, in the opinion of the coroner, may have resulted in the
death, or the place where the fire or disaster happened.
(2) A person commits an offence if the person enters or interferes with
an area to which access is restricted under subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
(4) This section does not apply to a police officer, a member of an
emergency service or a person assisting the coroner unless the
coroner orders otherwise.
