sec.17 Composition of board
The board has not more than 8 directors, consisting of— a person appointed as the chairperson; and a person appointed as the deputy chairperson; and 2 or 3 persons appointed as representatives of employers; and 2 or 3 persons appointed as representatives of workers. The deputy chairperson must be a person with knowledge of, and experience in, commerce, economics, finance or management. The number of directors appointed under subsection (1) (c) and under subsection (1) (d) must be equal.
