sec.125 Authorised officer may require record kept under s 66
An authorised officer may, by notice given to the employer, require the employer to give the authority the record that the employer is required to keep under section 66 . The notice may state a reasonable time within which the record must be given to the authority. The employer must comply with the notice within the stated time, unless the employer has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—40 penalty units. It is not a reasonable excuse that giving the record stated in the notice might tend to incriminate the employer. If a court finds an employer has contravened subsection (3) , in addition to an order the court may make imposing a penalty, the court may make another order the court considers appropriate. The employer must comply with the order unless the employer has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty for subsection (6) —40 penalty units.
