Short methods of reference to areas of continental shelf (First Schedule).

7.—(I.) Such areas of the Australian Continental Shelf or of the Continental Shelf of a Territory as are described in full in the second column of the First Schedule to these Regulations may be referred to by the short descriptions respectively specified in the first column of that Schedule.

(2.) The short descriptions referred to in the last preceding sub-regulation may be used, for the purpose of referring to the respective areas described in the second column of the First Schedule to these Regulations, in—

(a) a notice under section 11 or 12 of the Act;

(b) a licence under section 13 of the Act;

(c) a permit under section 23 of the Act; and

(d) an application for such a licence or permit.
