#### 92 Proceedings for other offences 92 Proceedings for other offences > > (1) Proceedings for an offence arising under this Act or the regulations (other than under Part 3, 4 or 5) may be dealt with— > > > > > (a) summarily before the Local Court, or > > > > > (b) summarily before the Land and Environment Court in its summary jurisdiction. > > > (2) If any such proceedings are brought in the Local Court, the maximum monetary penalty that the Court may impose for the offence is 1,000 penalty units, despite any other provision of this Act. > > **s 92:** Am 1999 No 85, Sch 2.7; 2001 No 121, Sch 2.59 \[1\]; 2007 No 94, Sch 2; 2024 No 20, Sch 1\[4\].
