327 Orders to enable redemption of goods where licence revoked
etc.
(1) If a person who has pawned goods to a pawnbroker is unable to
redeem the goods because the pawnbroker's licence has been
subsequently suspended, revoked or not renewed, the Local Court
may, on the application of any person, make the orders the Court
thinks fit in relation to conducting business at the premises for the
purpose of redeeming the goods.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) affects any power of the Director or a
court in relation to licences.
(3) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to
comply with an order under this section.
