307 Civil consequences of breach of section 280
(1) If a pawnbroker lends money under a contract but does not give to
the other party to the contract a pawn ticket in accordance with
section 280, the other party is not liable to pay any amount for
interest or for any charge in connection with the contract.
(2) If the other party has paid an amount referred to in subsection (1)
that party may recover the amount in a court of competent
jurisdiction as a debt due to him or her by the pawnbroker.
