29 Meaning of regulator in Australian Consumer Law for
purposes of this jurisdiction
In the Australian Consumer Law (NT):
regulator means the following:
(a) for Part 3-3 – the Commissioner or the Australian Competition
and Consumer Commission (ACCC) established by
section 6A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth);
(b) for Parts 5-1 and 5-2:
(i) in relation to the enforcement of Part 3-3 – the ACCC; or
(ii) otherwise – the Commissioner;
(c) for the remaining provisions – the Commissioner.
