282 Records to be provided by second-hand dealers (1) Before accepting goods under a contract a second-hand dealer must ensure that: (a) the records specified in or prescribed under section 281 that are prescribed for the purposes of this section are provided to the other party to the contract; and (b) a receipt for the goods and a copy of the receipt are signed by, or on behalf of, the dealer and the other party to the contract, and the receipt is given to the other party.
