264 Conditions and restrictions
(1) The Director may grant or renew a licence subject to conditions and
restrictions set out in, or provided with, the licence.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1), a licence may be subject to
conditions in relation to ascertaining whether a person who is, or is
proposed to be, employed at business premises has been
convicted of an offence the nature of which may render the person
unsuitable to enter into contracts at the premises or which is

prescribed for the purposes of this section.
(3) The Director may:
(a) make an existing licence subject to a new condition or
restriction; or
(b) change or remove a condition or restriction to which an
existing licence is subject;
but if the Director does so:
(c) the Director, within 14 days after the decision is made, is to
serve the licensee with written notice of the decision; and
(d) the decision does not take effect until 21 days after the
decision is made, or at a later time specified in the notice.
