176 Dealer's managers to be approved by Director
(1) A licensed dealer must not carry on business as a dealer at a place
unless there is present and in charge of the day-to-day conduct of
the business at that place:
(a) if the dealer is a body corporate – an individual approved by
the Director for this section (approved individual); or
(b) if the dealer is an individual – either the dealer or an approved
individual.

(2) Regulations may:
(a) make provision with respect to applications to the Director for
approvals for the purposes of this section; and
(b) require the Director, on an application for approval being duly
made, to grant or withhold approval within a specified time;
and
(c) specify the grounds on which the Director is to withhold
approvals; and
(d) enable the Director to grant approvals subject to conditions or
restrictions; and
(e) make provision as to the duration of approvals; and
(f) empower the Director to revoke approvals on specified
grounds; and
(g) provide for the payment of application fees and fees for the
granting of approvals; and
(h) enable the Director to seek such information and advice as the
Director considers necessary for the purpose of dealing with
applications in accordance with the regulations.
