89 Protection from liability (1) This section applies to a person who is or has been: (a) a Board member; or (b) a person mentioned in section 59(a), (b) or (c). (2) The person is not civilly or criminally liable for an act done or omitted to be done by the person in good faith in the exercise or purported exercise of a power, or the performance or purported performance of a function, under this Act. (3) In addition, the person is not civilly or criminally liable for an act done or omitted to be done by the Board in the exercise or purported exercise of a power, or the performance or purported performance of a function, under this Act. (4) Subsections (2) and (3) do not affect any liability the Territory or the Board would, apart from those subsections, have for the act or omission.
