45 Interest payments (1) Any unpaid amount of the levy starts to bear interest at the rate specified in the Regulations immediately after the amount becomes payable. (2) An unpaid amount of the interest: (a) must not be treated as an unpaid amount of the levy for subsection (1); but (b) is taken to be an unpaid amount of the levy for all other purposes. (3) Without limiting subsection (2)(b), an unpaid amount of the interest may be recovered under section 47.
