Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This Ministerial determination sets which threatened-species and habitat nominations under the EPBC Act get assessment priority during the 2010 period. It directs scarce assessment resources toward two conservation themes — coastal environments and heathlands/mallee woodlands — so nominations matching those priorities (e.g., coastal birds, heathland plants) are more likely to be assessed sooner. It's a routine administrative tool to focus efforts for that year.
