95A Hindering or obstructing forest operations (1) A person must not hinder or obstruct— (a) another person in the lawful carrying out of forest operations; or (b) the lawful carrying out of forest operations. 1. 20 penalty units. (2) In this section ***forest operations*** means— (a) the taking of forest produce from Crown land; or S. 95A(2)(b) amended by Nos 48/2004 s. 130(1)(a), 24/2024 s. 38(1)(a). (b) activities taking place on Crown land and associated with that taking. S. 95A(2)(c)(d) inserted by No. 48/2004 s. 130(1)(b), repealed by No. 24/2024 s. 38(1)(b). (3) In this section— ***Crown land*** includes freehold land, managed land and vested land within the meaning of the **Victorian Plantations Corporation Act 1993**; S. 95A(3) def. of *forest produce* amended by No. 24/2024 s. 38(2)(a). ***forest produce*** has the same meaning as it has in the **Forests Act 1958**. S. 95A(3) def. of *State forest* repealed by No. 24/2024 s. 38(2)(b). S. 95A(3) def. of *timber resources* repealed by No. 24/2024 s. 38(2)(c).
