74 Proceedings for offences
> > (1) Except as otherwise provided by this section, proceedings for an offence against this Act shall be dealt with summarily before the Local Court.
>
> > (2) The Local Court may not deal with an offence under section 42O or 45A unless it is satisfied that the value of the property concerned does not exceed the jurisdictional limit of the Local Court.
>
> > (3) Proceedings for an offence under section 42O or 45A must, if the value of the property concerned is more than the jurisdictional limit of the Local Court, be dealt with before the Supreme Court in its summary jurisdiction.
>
> > (4) Proceedings for an offence under section 69 (making of monitoring orders) shall be dealt with on indictment.
>
> > (5) In this section, the jurisdictional limit of the Local Court means the jurisdictional limit of the Local Court sitting in its General Division, within the meaning of the [Local Court Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-093).
