53 Conviction forfeiture orders—application
(1) The DPP may apply to a relevant court for a conviction forfeiture
order against a person.
(2) The application may be made before or after, or at the same time as,
the person’s conviction for a relevant offence.
(3) However, if the person has been convicted of the offence, the DPP
must make the application within 2 years after the day of the
conviction.
Note The court may allow leave for an application to be made after the time
fixed by this section in certain circumstances (see s 246).
