256 Powers under Act not limited by criminal proceedings To remove any doubt, the fact that a criminal proceeding has begun, or is about to begin, (whether or not under this Act) against a person to whom an order under this Act or an examination notice applies does not prevent the person or anyone else from complying, or permit a person to refuse to comply, with the order or notice.
