193 Information orders—disclosure by police officers
(1) This section applies to a non-disclosable information order.
(2) A police officer may disclose the existence or operation of the order
for the purposes of, or in the course of, a legal proceeding.
Note A police officer may also disclose the existence or operation of the order
in the exercise of the officer’s functions (see s 192 (4) (b)).
(3) However, a police officer is not required to disclose to a court the
existence or operation of the order.
disclosure, of the existence or operation of the order, includes the
disclosure of information to a person from which the person could
reasonably infer the existence or operation of the order.
