180 Protection of authorised investigator etc
(1) An authorised investigator has, in exercising functions as an
authorised investigator, the same protection and immunity as a judge.
(2) A lawyer appearing at the examination on behalf of the person being
examined has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in
appearing for a party in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
(3) A person being examined under this division—
(a) has the same protection as a witness in a proceeding in the
Supreme Court; and
(b) in addition to the penalties provided by this Act, is subject to the
same liabilities as a witness in a proceeding in the Supreme
Court.
