#### 55 Qualifications of members (1) A person is not qualified to be appointed as President or as a Deputy President unless he or she is the holder of a judicial office. (2) A person is not qualified to be appointed as a member other than President or a Deputy President unless: (a) he or she holds an office of Magistrate of a State or Territory; or (b) he or she has been, for a period of not less than 5 years, a legal practitioner.
