#### 14 Constitution and functions of Investigation Division (1) The Commissioner shall constitute, within the Australian Federal Police, a Division to be known as the Internal Investigation Division. (2) The functions of the Investigation Division are: (a) to investigate complaints concerning action taken by AFP appointees that are referred to it under section 6 or referred to the Commissioner under section 23; and (b) to investigate matters concerning action taken by AFP appointees that are referred to it by the Commissioner, including matters that are so referred to it at the request of the Ombudsman. (3) In addition to the functions of the Investigation Division under subsection (2), the Investigation Division has such other functions as are conferred on it by or under any other Act.
