28AAProtection of persons appearing on another person’s behalf

#### 28AA Protection of persons appearing on another person’s behalf (1) A barrister, solicitor or other person appearing on behalf of another person at an inquiry held in accordance with Part VIIA of the Act has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court. (2) A barrister, solicitor or other person engaged by the Commission to appear at an inquiry held in accordance with Part VIIA of the Act: (a) has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court; and (b) may inspect a document: (i) given to the Commission for the purposes of the exercise of its powers or the performance of its functions under that Part; or (ii) produced at an inquiry held in accordance with that Part; and (c) may make copies of, or take extracts from, that document.
