22AEvidence of persons not attending the Tribunal

#### 22A Evidence of persons not attending the Tribunal (1) Subject to subregulation (2), the Tribunal may permit a person, other than a person appearing as a witness before the Tribunal, to give evidence in proceedings before the Tribunal by tendering a written statement. (2) The Tribunal must not give permission under subregulation (1) in respect of a statement, unless: (a) the parties to the proceedings consent to the permission being given; and (b) the statement is accompanied by a statutory declaration by the person, verifying the information contained in the statement. (3) A statement tendered with the permission of the Tribunal must be filed with the Registrar. (4) Subregulation (1) has effect subject to subsections 102(8) to (10) of the Act.
