87 Saving—appointment of the Independent Reviewer under the old Code

(1) An instrument of appointment under subclause 37(1) of the old Code that was in force immediately before 1 April 2025 continues in force (and may be dealt with) as if: (a) that instrument had been made under subsection 60(2) of this instrument; and (b) the references in that instrument to the Independent Reviewer were references to the Code Supervisor. (2) Subsection (1) does not prevent the person who was the Independent Reviewer on 31 March 2025 from continuing to perform that role after that day: (a) for the purposes of section 84 of this instrument; or (b) under Part 5 of the old Code as that Part continues to apply because of section 88 of this instrument.
