8 Distribution regions to which this instrument does not apply
This instrument does not apply, in relation to a financial year, to supplying electricity in a distribution region if: (a) any standing offer prices, or maximum standing offer prices, for supplying electricity in the year in the region to a small customer are set by or under a law of a State or Territory; or (b) the total number of consumers to whom electricity retailers supplied electricity in the region, and any interconnected distribution regions, in the previous financial year was less than 100,000.
