6 General provisions
Unless the contrary intention appears in this Act or in the Companies Act 1981, all persons, things and circumstances appointed or created by or under the Companies Ordinance 1962 or existing or continuing under that Ordinance immediately before the commencement of the Companies Act 1981 shall, under and subject to this Act and to the Companies Act 1981, continue to have the same status, operation and effect as they respectively would have had if the Companies Act 1981 had not been enacted.
