4 Meaning of “community service work” and “community service”

(1) In this Act, community service work means—

(a) work to provide a community service, or

(b) work for an employer, if the predominant purpose of the employer is to provide a community service.

Note—

Under section 7, the Minister may declare work or an activity to be or not be community service work.

(2) In this Act, community service means a service—

(a) specified in Schedule 1, or

(b) prescribed by the regulations.

(3) The regulations may amend Schedule 1 by—

(a) inserting a service into the schedule, or

(b) amending a service specified in the schedule.
